I build resilient and auditable software platforms that converge multiple complex systems into a unified interface.

Customer authentication and onboarding, integrated payment collection, robust regulatory adherence, granular audit tracking and reporting, and Ops configuration tooling that requires no code changes.

Small to medium sized clients in regulated industries.

This is for small to medium sized clients in regulated industries who need reliable custom software tailored to their exact needs, and who don't want to pay the premium price of a large scale consulting company.

  • Payment and accounting integrations (e.g. Stripe and Quickbooks)
  • Third party backend API integrations (e.g. METRC or other Regulatory software)
  • Database consolidation and management

I operate lean and flexible so that I can deliver work quickly to your requirements.

Before we get started, you tell me what problem is keeping you up at night.

01 · Discovery

You give me a list of requirements and goals. For a flat $5,000 fee that is creditable towards the project, I spend 1-2 weeks putting together a discovery report, a thorough technical design document, design mockups, and layout a phased plan and delivery timeline aligning with your goals. The repo skeleton and all documentation from this discovery phase is transferred over to your ownership.

02 · Build

Once we begin the build, each phase is designed to give you working software functionality. 50% paid before each phase and 50% paid on acceptance of a working, production-ready release in the designated test or staging environment that meets the requirements you agreed upon. You only pay for working software.

03 · After the build

I hand over the operations to your team to maintain and manage with all code and documentation. If you want longer term support, I'm available on a monthly retainer where I stay plugged into your system and operations to ensure smooth operation, same-day acknowledgment and triage of critical production incidents, with sustained commercially reasonable efforts, and minor feature development.

Every build uses the same delivery setup. How I ship.

A few things I put in the contract.

Custom work becomes yours when that phase is paid in full. Ownership vests per paid phase, not only at the end of the project.

If you ask, I will export your data within five business days. No migration fees, and I will not withhold it.

Each phase is 50% before we start and 50% when you accept a working, production-ready release in the designated test or staging environment that meets the requirements you agreed upon.

If I cannot continue the work, you get a documented handoff, a written runbook, and source-code escrow if you want it.

How I run the work.

Longer write-ups on the mechanics. Plain language first. Engineering detail underneath if your technical advisor wants it.

How I ship

How code gets from my keyboard to a staging site you can check any day, and why the parts that matter live in your accounts, not mine.July 2026

About me

I lead a team of about 10 software engineers at a large fintech company where our focus is building institutional client onboarding and compliance integrations and workflows. We build resilient internal tooling, devops systems, and client facing product portals. If you hire me, you can rest assured knowing that I've been battle tested and have navigated through some of the most complicated enterprise software challenges. After a decade of working in fintech and enterprise software, I'm looking to apply the expertise and skillset that I've developed to build real impactful software and tooling for clients I care about.

In my free time in Eugene, I am an avid mountain and road biker, trail runner, amateur mountaineer, and tecchie homelab builder who is always tinkering with my ubiquiti and linux network.
