Custom software for regulated and records-critical operations

The one system your operation actually owns.

I build custom software that consolidates your systems of record into one compliance-grade tool you own. Then I keep my hands on it as your operation evolves. Senior engineering, one accountable person, no agency overhead.

Who this is for

Operations that have outgrown a patchwork of systems.

  • Multiple systems of record that do not talk to each other, forcing double-entry and manual reconciliation.
  • A compliance or audit burden where "we think it is right" is not good enough.
  • Money, waivers, or member records that create real liability when they're wrong.
  • Key-person risk: the real operational knowledge lives in one person's spreadsheets and head.
  • A team that wants to run the system itself, not file a ticket for every small change.

How I work

A short, sequenced engagement. Each step is a decision point.

01: Paid discovery

Decide with real numbers

A short, paid discovery, from $5,000, produces the design, the phased plan, the risks, and a fixed-price build proposal. It credits toward the build, and you owe nothing further if you stop here.

02: Fixed-scope build

See it work against your data

Fixed scope, milestone-paid. You see working software against your real data every few weeks, and payment follows the demo.

03: Ongoing retainer

Keep the same hands on it

Month to month, no lock-in. The person who built the system keeps it evolving as your operation changes, with a response-time SLA, for a fraction of the cost of a part-time senior engineer.

Also available on its own: a fractional CTO / advisory retainer. Senior technical leadership a few days a month, without hiring a full-time CTO.

How you're protected

Ownership guarantees, in writing.

You own the code

Custom work is work-for-hire. Full ownership vests in you at final payment.

Your data out, always

A complete export of your data within five business days of asking. No migration fees, no withholding.

Payment follows working demos

Money moves when software runs against your real data, not against promises.

Key-person risk, answered

Documented handoff, a written runbook, and source-code escrow available on request.

About

A decade in tech, most of it where trust is the product.

I have spent a decade building and leading engineering in regulated, high-trust environments, shipping internal tools, automations, and custom AI applications for institutional onboarding, compliance operations, and workflows at scale. That includes managing the CRM systems and integrations that hold an operation's data together. These are systems where correctness is audited and trust is the product. As a company of one, you get that judgment without a handoff. The person who scopes the work is the person who builds it. I cap the number of ongoing retainers I take, so every client keeps the person who built their system.

Have a system that should be one system?

Tell me what is breaking. If it is a fit, we start with a short paid discovery.
